The Lüpke Pendulum measures the rebound resilience of rubber, which is defined as the ratio of returned energy to input energy when a steel rod strikes the test piece.

Dunlop Tripsometer

This apparatus consists of a pendulum in the form of steel disc, mounted on frictionless air bearings, with a striking ball. The Tripsometer measures resilience as the ratio of returned energy to input energy when rubber is struck by the ball.
